Orgs and projects

Every window works in one org at a time. Pick it from the org menu at the foot of the sidebar. Starred orgs are listed first, then your personal GitHub account under Personal, which works as an org does (with you as the only member and no teams). Stars are yours, on this Mac.

Each window and tab keeps its own org, page and project, so you can have two orgs open side by side (File › New Window, ⌥⌘N, or File › New Tab).

Within an org, a window works in a project: a name, the repos it covers, and the harness that holds the team’s settings and documents. Pick it from the project menu just above the org at the foot of the sidebar. Everything in the window narrows to the project’s repos: the workload, metrics, CI, issues and Inbox.

A project that names no repos covers every repo in the org.

Projects are set up in Org settings › Projects, where you can add a harness the org already has, or create one.

To leave a repo or a person out of everything in an org (bots, archived experiments, people who’ve left), untick them in Org settings › Repositories or People.
