Recap
Rituals › Recap lists the issues closed over the team’s period, for a regular look back such as a fortnightly one. It reads the issue history.
Periods
Section titled “Periods”It opens on the last whole period. The arrows step back and forward, Last returns to the last whole period and This shows the one under way. By default a period is two weeks.
The button in the toolbar showing the cadence opens a popover with how long a period is (Every, or a number of days) and the day one started on. Periods run back and forward from that day, so pick the day the last one began. It applies to everyone in the org, and it’s kept as a team file in the project’s harness (or on this device with no harness).
The list
Section titled “The list”Group by sets how completed issues are grouped: Category (investment category), Person, Repository or Epic. Issues closed as not planned are listed after them. The header counts what was completed, how many people did it, and compares it with the period before.
The Person menu narrows the list, counts and notes to issues assigned to the people you pick: Me, Unassigned, or anyone who closed something.
Speech
Section titled “Speech”Speech has Claude write the period up as a casual spoken update to read out. It uses themes and first names and leaves out numbers. If you’ve picked one person, it’s in the first person. Choose About a minute or Two or three minutes, and add anything you want worked in. It’s kept while Gannin is open for that period, people and length.
Notes is the period as Markdown. Copy it, have Claude rewrite it, or commit it to the project’s harness as recaps/<start>.md.
